I am a product designer with 3-4 years of experience in web and desktop applications for startups in complex problem spaces
From driving usability gains in 3D UIs at nTopology to launching 0-1 dashboards for procurement operations, I lead end-to-end designs by combining my fluency in full-stack web development with iterative design processes to help teams ship well-informed and beautiful solutions.
How I started in product & UX:
I started my career in 3D visualization but eventually got bored of the mechanical day-to-day of making renderings.
The complexity between users & business needs, deciding what information to show, and bringing efficiency to everyday tools are much more interesting puzzle to solve. I love the process of creating something with thought leaders & engineers and working closely with people bring that vision to life.
Aside from running roadmap discussions and making prototypes, I also dabble in front-end development and building web apps! When I am not staring at my laptop, I can be found napping with my two cats, playing my nintendo switch, or dancing house.
Born in Taiwan, raised in Shanghai, living in NYC now.
My journey into product design has been quite a scenic hike from 3D into 2D. During college, I was designing and making anything from chairs to tableware. The same desire slowly creeped into other media - 3D rendering, graphic design, web design, and eventually - digital product design & development.
Now as a product designer, I have designed web-based user dashboards that improve customer service process, brought usability improvements to 3D viewport interactions. Aside from running roadmap discussions and making figma prototypes, I also dabble in front-end development and building web apps.
When I am not staring at my laptop, I can be found napping with my two cats, playing my nintendo switch, or dancing house :)
